送行人與旅人間在火車旁依依不捨纏綿吻別是人生的柯達時刻，也是許多浪漫電影裡令人幾度緬懷愁倀的經典影像。Well, No More! 至少在英國威靈頓車站，No More.
為減低情人吻別時間過長造成的月台壅塞和停車位不足，英國威靈頓車站於情人節後正式法禁月台接吻。
想接吻的人，請到指定的短程停車處，接吻時限20分鐘！

In the classic film Brief Encounter, Celia Johnson faces Trevor Howard on the station platform for a lip-quivering emotional farewell.
It is a scene played out by couples every day of the week as they part.
But one station is putting an end to such lingering goodbyes with a 'no kissing' sign - on the grounds that overlong clinches are causing delays and congestion.

If couples want to say a romantic farewell at Warrington Bank Quay station in Cheshire they have to walk to a Kissing Zone in the short-stay car park - where they can indulge themselves for up to 20 minutes.
Coincidentally, the station is on the same line as Carnforth in Lancashire, less than 60 miles away, where Brief Encounter was filmed in 1945.
The 'no kissing' sign - the first of its kind in the country - is outside the station where couples saying goodbye were causing traffic congestion, delaying other passengers who then had to rush for their train.
It was put up at the suggestion of Colin Daniels, chief executive of Warrington Chamber of Commerce, as part of a £650,000 station refurbishment part-funded by Virgin Trains.

Mr Daniels said: 'It was all a bit of fun, but there is a serious message underneath.'
Virgin Trains say the station has become 'increasingly busy' since the introduction of faster trains between London and Glasgow and the sign is intended to speed up access for passengers.
The kissing ban brought a mixed response. Ruth Sargeant, 38, who uses the station to travel to Manchester, said: 'Surely people are entitled to say their goodbyes.'
But Jenna Seddon, 23, from Warrington, said: 'I think the signs are quite sweet. It's romantic and a bit of fun.'
John Finney, 29, from St Helens, whose partner Lynne Surgenor is from Glasgow, said: 'Someone in an office somewhere must have a good sense of humour. We're law-abiding citizens, though, so of course we won't be breaking the rules.'
Miss Surgenor, 24, added: 'His car was parked beneath the kissing sign and I thought he'd put it up as a joke. It made me laugh.'
A Virgin spokesman confirmed that those kissing in the wrong place will not face any penalty.
In Brief Encounter a suburban housewife falls in love with a local doctor. They decide to part, but their final meeting at the station is interrupted - and he is only able to squeeze his lover on her shoulder instead of the longed-for embrace.

Lovers hoping to bid each other an intimate farewell will no longer be able to do so in certain areas of Warrington Bank Quay train station after "no kissing" signs appeared following concerns that embracing couples were causing congestion.
The signs were installed on Friday as part of a £1m refurbishment of the station and have divided the car park and taxi ranks into "kissing" and "no-kissing" zones.
They will mean an end to scenes like the one between Celia Johnson and Trevor Howard in the 1945 film Brief Encounter, in which the couple share a passionate embrace at a station.
The idea of the "no-kissing" zones at Warrington station in Cheshire, was first mooted in 1998 by Colin Daniels, chief executive of the town's chamber of commerce. He came up with the idea after hearing that a station in Deerfield, Illinois, had used the signs to ease congestion.
But it was only last week, following the revamp, that the signs were put up because the station has become "increasingly busy" since the introduction of Pendolino trains between London and Glasgow and Super Voyager trains between Birmingham and Scotland.
Mr Daniels said yesterday: "It is a fairly congested station and ideally what we want is for people to come here, drop someone off and move on. But that wasn't always happening and people were lingering and causing delays.
"With these 'no-kissing' signs we are pointing out that we don't want people doing that right outside the front of the station. If they want to linger and say a longer goodbye they can do that in the 'kissing zone' where there is a limited amount of parking."
Mr Daniels said that the station would not be enforcing the zones too rigidly, adding: "It is a bit of fun, but it will be interesting to see if people observe it. They may seem frivolous but there is a serious message underneath."
And despite the timing of the signs appearing –one day before Valentine's Day – they are not, as some cynics have might suggest, a marketing ploy. Mr Daniels insists they are there to stay "unless someone nicks them".
At the station, commuters had a mixed view on the signs. Amy Swain, 21, said: "I don't see the point in the 'no-kissing' sign. I don't think it'll stop people. But the kissing sign is good, although it might be upsetting if you're single." But Ruth Hardman, 31, said: "They should spend the money on something more worthwhile."
A Virgin spokesman said: "It's just a quirky thing. It's nothing more than a light-hearted way of getting the message across."

【商台互動生活副刊組】鐵路的乘客守則總離不開「不准在車箱內飲食」、「嚴禁吸煙」等等，但英國威靈頓有一個鐵路站，竟然離奇貼出一張告示牌，要求乘客不要在該處接吻！ 原本「Goodbye Kiss」是外國人的一種特殊禮儀，以表示對分離的人依依不捨之情，被禁止接吻的車站Warrington Bank Quay Station，更是「Goodbye Kiss」勝地，事緣於1945年一套名為《相見恨晚》（Brief Encounter）的電影，因為男女主角於該車站內吻別的經典一幕，令威靈頓這個原本寂寂無名的火車站，成了情侶們最愛的吻別場所，甚至演變成現時英國 人的「接吻車站」。 可惜由於人流太多，又有不少情侶或親友在車站上吻別，或是直接在客運停車區擁吻，令已經繁忙的交通更加嚴重阻塞，甚至影響到火車站附近的商舖，令這 個建於1853年的火車站不勝負荷，於是車站進行重修，在車站附近設立停車場，以疏導車站的交通情況；另外，更在站內貼上「不准接吻」的告示牌，並要求 「需要吻別人士」要到附近停車場去，該處將為乘客提供「接吻區」！ 這個提案引起外界反對，指這個要求不合理且剝削人權，更說這不過是火車站想賺更多停車費的絕撟，從而令車站收入大增。但隨着這個原本有趣的接吻景點消失，相信不少人會因此而沒興趣到訪，車站豈不是得不償失？ |

本以為這是創新，剛才骨狗一下，竟然發現浪漫的法國早在2001年就發起過禁止月台吻別！！！

【大紀元5月16日訊】一向令人感到充滿浪漫情懷的法國﹐將會實行一個毫不浪漫的新措施﹐就是禁止情侶在火車月台上﹐等候火車開出前纏綿吻別﹐以免難捨難離之際令火車班次延誤及有人渾水摸魚無票乘「霸王車」。

據明報報導﹐這種措施將於巴黎﹑里昂和馬賽等大城市的火車站實行﹐新制度下只會准許持有車票的乘客在月台候車。
里昂一個車站的經理奧巴迪亞表示﹕「這個措施旨在令人無機會渾水摸魚﹐以及可令火車較準時開出。」身穿制服的鐵路公司員工將會要求想進入月台的人士出示車票才准他們進入﹐並鼓勵送別摯愛的人在進入月台前道別。
照顧祖母另當別論
奧巴迪亞補充說﹕「如果你送別的人身體健康﹐能夠自己照顧自己﹐我們會要求你在進入月台前道別﹔當然如果你送別的是老祖母﹐而她又拿著沉重的行李箱﹐那我們當然會通融。」
